Kids this age play games constantly. This is the term they find out they can build one – and watch their friends play it.
What your child will do
- Design a game character and decide the rules
- Build collision, scoring and a win condition using blocks
- Playtest a classmate’s game and give feedback
- Fix what doesn’t work – the first taste of debugging
What they take home
Two or three playable games, and the realisation that the games on the tablet were made by people.
